Lancer Power Mission Statement
***
There are three training concepts that describe the overall mission of the

Lancer Power program.
The first is to provide Lancer athletes with the opportunity to
optimize athletic performance by improving athleticism.
The second is to reduce the potential for athletic injuries and the third is to increase team success through team training.

***
Michelle takes pride in staying up to date with current training research and uses that knowledge to create structured training programs that  improve strength, speed and POWER.
With the help of her staff and team coaches; she strives to educate athletes on the importance of  leading a healthy lifestyle and what it means to work with

Discipline, Consistency and Intensity.

There is an emphasis placed on team training as teams that lift with a common purpose develop better team chemistry, teamwork and leadership.

***
Lancer Power Strength and Conditioning Principles

  • We don’t train bodybuilders, power lifters or Olympic lifters we use components of these to improve overall Athleticism; strength, power, speed, metabolic condition, & flexibility.
  • We train with the purpose of Making Athletes Better Athletes.

  • We train athletes using a Structured Progression individualized by training experience, age, maturity and sport. We train to Develop Proper Movement Patterns Not Individual Muscles. We emphasize ground based multi-joint lifts using bodyweight and free weight as much as possible.

  • We educate our athletes on the importance of Recovery. Gains made while training are dependent on what happens while not training. Nutritional habits, sleep patterns, academics and social life all play an important role in determining success.
